Please bring back the old formula

I prefer the long lasting formula and the scent of the previous version of Ultra Quench with Shea butter. I absolutely loved it. i am so disappointed with the new formula that I am very tempted to switch brands.:(

i JUST WANTED TO LET YOUR COMPANY KNOW THAT i HAHVE BEEN A FAITHFUL USER OF YOUR FACIAL CLEANSER, BODY WASH AND LOTION SINCE THE AGE OF 19YRS OLD. WE RECEIVED A GOODY BOX AS FRESHMAN AT THE UNIVERSITY I ATTENDED. IN THE WELCOME BOX WAS A SMALL BOTLLE OF OIL OF OLAY DAILY FACIAL LOTION. I WAS HOOKED AND HAVE USED YOUR LINE OF PRODUCTS EVER SINCE. MY HUSBAND OF 16 MONTHS HAVE SWITCHED TO THE ULTRA MOISTURING LOTION BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY KEEP OUR SKIN SILKY SMOOTH 'ALL DAY'(WE ARE AFRICAN AMERICANS AND FOR THIS PRODUCT TO ACCOMPLISH THIS TASK IS AN ACTUAL BREAK THROUGH).IT SADDENS US THAT IN GILBERT/CHANDLER AREA, WE ARE UNABLE TO PURCHASE THE ULTRA MOISTURIZER AT TARGET OR WALMART. YOU HAVE COME OUT WITH A SHIMMERING/LIGHT WEIGHT PRODUCT WHICH WE WOULD NEVER USE. Its the best body lotion that I ever use specially the smell is sweet and awesome.i don't even have to spray a lot of perfum bcuz the smell of the lotion is cover it.my skin is very smooth all day.please Olay don't change it.AWESOME!!!!

Faulty Pump

I've been using Olay products since the 80s & I've enjoyed every product I've purchased. The last 4 times I've purchased the ultra moisture lotion with shea butter, the pump has either broken or would not work. I've never had this problem before, so all I can think is that the packaging is being made more cheaply. I still love the lotion, however, going back to return it & re purchase it is becoming a hassle. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem

Don't mess with a good thing

The old Quench was a wonderful product and I was hooked. The new Quench is not the same. It isn't as thick and the smell is off somehow. Apparently, I am not the only one who feels this way. The old Quench stayed with with you all day. The new product lasts a couple of hours tops. Please listen to loyal Olay followers and change it back.

I put it on at bedtime, and my hands are always nice and soft -- not an easy thing in a dry climate. I just wish I could find it in a smaller size that would go in my purse...

Worst Ever!!! II am very disappointed in your new products. I like many others will be looking for a new lotion, very quickly as I am down to my last 3 bottles. Your Olay Quench Body Lotion with shea butter and vitamins E & B3 is the best lotion I have ever found for my dry, itchy skin. I was desperate & tried to mix your 2 new lotions that contained the shea butter and vitamins and that was a disaster. Please bring Olay Quench body lotion Ultra Moisture with shea butter, vitamins E & B3 back!!

I'm sorry you're disappointed with the changes to Olay Ultra Moisture Lotion. This bodywash still contains nourishing Vitamins E, A, B3, Petrolatum & Shea Butter for moisturizing. We also still make the Olay Quench so I hope you'll give it a try! Thanks for your review.

why did they change it? they SAY it's the same but it isn't. I can live without the shimmer. I can live with the slight difference in scent. But why mess with the formula? It dosn't work the same! I don't care what P&G says: It is NOT the same!

Sorry you're disappointed with the changes to the Olay Ultra Moisture Lotion. Be assured I'm sharing your feedback with our product development team. In the meantime, you may want to try the Quench Daily Lotion plus Shimmer. This version has a different fragrance than Ultra Moisture but is the only Olay body lotion with glitter. Hope this helps.

Best Body Product for Anti-Aging

I have been trying several different body products for anti-aging for about 2 years now, switching products every time I use one up. I'm 27, and unfortunately starting to show some serious signs of aging. I spent my youth at the pool rubbing on SPF 4, and then regrettably spent my teens and college years in indoor tanning beds. The result is now I have dry discolored skin, some deep lines above my knees, wrists, and elbows, along with so many sunspots & freckles I can't begin to count them, especially on my chest and shoulders. Out of all the body lotions I've tried this one is by far and away the best. After just ONE use, my skin looked healthier thanks to a natural-looking youthful sheen this product imparts to the skin. My fine lines disappeared, and dryness was completely gone. My skin looks more supple and more even. Now, this product hasn't done much for the deep lines above me knees or wrists, and hasn't erased my sunspots, but it's done a LOT more than any other lotion I've tried. I haven't even been through one whole bottle yet, but I'm hoping the high amount of niacinamide (vitamin B3) in the lotion will, over time, help even the freckles out a bit. I'm going back to the store as soon as I can and buying a couple of the largest-size bottles to stock up.

This is the best lotion ever!!! After I use this product, my skin instantly feels soft and smooth. This is the only type of lotion I use, because it works so perfectly!!! I'm so glad I found this lotion. :)

I used Quench religiously and always thought I should buy up a bunch of it in case they decided to discontinue it. Now the product has been changed. It's NOT the same great product different look. It's not the same. Really bad move Olay. Now I'm searching for some other product to use religiously. I love Quench. Please bring it back.

I always wanted to try this lotion but didn't want the shimmer, thankfully now there is one without and it is great. I mixed in a few drops of my favorite foundation and it is the only lotion I use (along with the total effects lotion). I didn't want the sunless tanner because of the streaks and this works so well. It is not greasy, the smell is not overpowering and it absorbs quickly but leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I have 2 bottles on backup because I usually have trouble finding it without the shimmer. This one is a keeper.

I've never used Olay lotions because of the shimmer. When I saw this didn't have any, I had to try it. My facial skin has always responded really well to Olay products so I was excited to see if this could help my terribly dry, itchy skin. I love it! My skin is soft and smooth with no itch. It sinks in easily and isn't greasy at all. The scent isn't something I'd pick, but it's subtle enough that it doesn't bother me. I love using it as a hand lotion too since it absorbs so well. Great product!

Just like everyone else, I am so disappointed that they have changed this product. This was my favorite lotion. I loved everything about it--the smell, the feel, the shimmer. I loved the shimmer!! I used it every single day and I went through bottles of this lotion... I really hope that Olay brings it back soon. I am most definitely not buying the new replacement, as it is not the same thing.

I could not find the Olay Quench lotion anywhere for the past couple of months. I am so disappointed, now that I have found out this product is gone! I can't even find ANY Oil of Olay body lotion products now, in any of the stores that I regularly shop in. I agree with so many of the other reviews. I am extremely disappointed that my favorite Oil of Olay lotion has changed, I would very much like for the old Quench Ultra Moisture Lotion with Shimmer to be available again, if not, I will have to find another brand. I especially liked the shimmer in that lotion too! I am using Aveeno now but would rather have the old Olay Quench back. I am so unhappy that Olay Quench is gone! Bad move Olay!! :(

Please bring back the original lotion. This is not the same smell, feel, it really is not the same lotion. When you have a great product stop trying to improve it. I have tried to get this on line because I can not find in stores. Four orders later and all new improved lotions were sent instead. This will just make me go to other lines to find something similar and more than likely not back to your door (ex: Cheeseborough Ponds at one time made a great cream till they improved it). I do use your face cream (PROx), please don't play around with that, works great.

The 'old' Quench Ultra Moisture was by far the BEST Drugstore body lotion I've ever used. So, thinking that only the packaging has changed I bought 2 bottles of this new product to stock up during a store promotion. So disappointed!!! It is NOT the same! Although the scent stayed the same, the lotion feels 'watered' down and it is sticky! Will not buy this product again and will try and return the two I bought.

I have read the other reviews and I totally believe that Olay does not care about what their customers want. You had a wonderful lotion with Shea butter and Vitamins E and B3, wonderful packaging and wonderful scent. You changed it and it can only be because your marketing dept is not doing their job. I have purchased 3 (!) bottles of Olay trying to obtain the same results to no avail. I will no longer purchase your lotion. Too bad, you just don't care!

When Something is Good....Why Do You Change It.

Very disappointed with the moisture lotion. First of all it SMELLS TERRIBLE. Just like a cheap perfume. It no longer has the greatness it once had. I am going to return it, as the Terrible Cheap Perfume Smell if OVERWHELMING, and just not happy with the over all quality that Olay ONCE carried.
