PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the org. formula!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE~it was perfect. This is an awful smell, & no shimmer that stays on! Please bring back my favorite lotion!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New Formula not good - Please bring back original

PLEASE PLEASE, PLEASE bring back the old formula. This one is not half as effective. The hydration is not at all as good, the smell seems a bit different and the shimmer is not as good.
I had converted so MANY friends and family members to use the old formula regularly. I would be asked whenever I was out what that delicious smell was and why my skin looked so pretty. I used to go to Target and stock up on about 5 bottles at a time. I won't continue to use the new formula so I'm currently searching for a replacement.
Please bring it back :) :)

What I do remember from the old formula I liked it a lot better then this one here.
The old formula really moisturized my skin and the shimmer was very apparent. This formula leaves my skin feeling average, just a little more moisturized then it usually is without lotion. The old formula had me feeling baby soft and supple. This new formula's shimmer quality is also bad. I wanted a nice lotion that would make my skin glow, but this just leaves little specks on my skin. I'm not asking to look like a disco ball, but the old formula was much better. I will finish the bottle I have because I don't like wasting money but unless something is changed I won't be buying again.
Olay, why fix something that wasn't ever broken?

This is NOT a comparable replacement! I hate it! My husband & I do not like the cocoa butter in it. PLEASE bring back the original product !

The Original Quench plus shimmer was and Is the BEST scent you have ever made!
It was first endorsed by Tyra Banks Series: AMERICAS NEXT TOP Model. and even on national Television during photo shoots , Tyra's contestants RAVED about the scent! (If you dont believe this , Archive back to her earliest seasons of the show)
As I read how many of your CUSTOMERS are UPSET about the change...WHY are you not bringing the ORIGINAL back ASAP??
If its NOT broke DONT fix it!

Bad "Replacement"

Please bring back the original formula. I loved the scent, shimmer and the feel of my skin. I find that the "replacement" is a completely different formula. I was using this for years. I am a faithful Olay product user. It is a shame that I have to use another maker for lotion.

Please, bring the old Olay Shimmer Body Lotion Back! I've been trying to find it but no luck! It was your greatest summer product! Nothing better than a sunny day by the pool followed by my favorite summer shimmer lotion! No need to discontinue something that was working (selling) great! I truly miss it and I hope you will take all the comments into consideration!

Please bring the old body shimmer! The new one is horrible and I have not been using your product since. I used to use the original Quench with Shimmer lotion ritually. It was the lotion that I found that worked perfect for my skin and I used to get a lot of compliments with it. The new one seems too watery and does nothing for my skin. Please please please bring it back!!!!

Im so disappointed as are many with the new Olay Quench. Please bring our product back! The new product definitely is not the same and you are losing customers. The original product was perfect! Please bring it back!!!!!

Bring Back the Original!!!

The original Quench lotion was perfect.. perfect scent.. perfect light shimmer.. it was awesome! Now, if I want the scent, I have to buy the ultra moisture, which smells similar and if I want shimmer I have to find quench shimmer, which smells horribly flowery and overwhelming. Why would you change this product??? Were there complaints? Seems to me the complaints are for the changes now... please consider bringing back the original, wonderfully scented, shimmered and moisturizing product.. no need to change what was soooo good!!!

I've tried many many different brands of lotions in the past. Everything from Suave to Vaseline to Avon. You name it, I think I've tried it. But...I have no idea why I never tried Olay. I have to say this lotion is awesome. The smell isn't overpowering, but it's not bland and boring like fragrance free lotions either. It soaks in well and doesnt leave me feeling greasy or like I can't hold a pen after I apply it. I also don't feel the need to re-apply it 50 times a day like I did with Suave. Keep up the good work P+G. I hope you never discontinue this one or change it!

I am extremely unhappy with the new Quench lotions. This is the 2nd "same formula" I have tried and neither have lived up to the original Quench that I used. I also do not believe that this is the same formula. Please try to bring back the original. I am now at a lost as to what lotion to purchase. Probably will try a different brand.

I am one who can never find a lotion I like. Well look no more! I bought Quench with Shimmer today and I am in love with it! It really moisturized my skin without feeling greasy. The scent is very light and does not interfere with my perfume. I was worried the "shimmer" would be too much, but its very subtle. It just makes the skin look like its has a subtle, healthy glow when out in the sunlight. So happy I finally found a lotion I can look forward to using!

I have been using Olay for years since Quench Body Lotion—Deep Moisture was launched and I loved it. Since the relaunch of this new look same formula came out it is not the same. Not only that I can't find it anywhere, I have been to Walmart, CVS, Duane Reade, Rite Aid, etc...and I can't find it. The relaunch was a HUGE mistake, it is clearly not the same formula as it doesn't have the same consistancy as the original one. I have switched to Nivea but it's not the same, my skin needs more moisture which was perfect when I used Quench. I'm in search of a lotion with the same benefits Quench provided but I'm at a loss because I can't find any other like it. Mostly all the reviews have stated the same thing, PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL FORMULA!!! It was PERFECT. I hope the company listens to our reviews and takes action fast!

I am begging the marketing team at Olay to please bring back the old Olay Quench Body Lotion. I know its been stated over and over in all of these reviews but this new product in entirely different and overwhelmingly worse. I cannot count how many of my friends (myself included) have switched to Nivea after the old version was discontinued. However, I do not like the Nivea lotion nearly as much as i loved the old quench. It had the perfect aroma, the most beautiful subtle shimmer, a great consistency, and best of all, an ideal softening and moisturizing effect. My skin has never felt the same since switching lotions. That may sound dramatic (it does to me) but it is sadly true. I was proud to be an olay customer and i would look forward to being one again. Please fix this mistake.

I found this lotion while I was shopping today. What I really wanted was my old Jergens lotion with gold shimmer. I absolutely loved it and was so sad that they discontinued it. I tried some of the Oil of Olay and found the shimmer wasn't a shimmer at all but more of a layer of shine. Nothing like my old gold shimmer Jergens which was subtle but gave a wonderful golden glow. I also didn't care for the scent of this lotion. After reading the reviews it sounds like the old lotion was a lot like the Jergens. I'm sorry you don't make that anymore either. I'm glad I didn't purchase the new one. I hope all the negative reviews here will prompt you to bring back the old product. If Jergens doesn't bring back their shimmer lotion I will wait for Oil of Olay to bring your original shimmer lotion back too.

I am disappointed that you discontinued the olay with shea butter, you seem to forget that some people have allergies and i am one of them I am allergic to coconut. and also the shimmer in this new one doesn't have as much if any shimmering gold in it. PLEASE BRING BACK THE SHEA it works very well for those of us that need the ultra moisturizing affects.

It took me forever to find a lotion that I loved that had a little shimmer after my favorite was completely discontinued. I have been using this product, the Quench lotion, for a few years now. It has a great texture, smell, and the little glow that I was looking for. I don't know why you would fix something that isn't broken!!!!! I am super disappointed in you Oil of Olay. You had an amazing product. I got so many compliments on how great my skin looked and how nice of a glow I had. I felt fantastic when I used your lotion. When I started seeing the bottles change, I started buying out all the bottles that I could find off the shelves in every store so that I could have a stock pile. I only have a few left. I was recommended this product by A LOT of friends and you are going to lose a ton of customers if you don't bring back the good thing. I hate the fact that the new only shimmer lotion has cocoa butter in it. I refuse to smell like sunblock all day everyday, so I will not buy this product!!!! If you want to keep your customers happy and continue to generate new and happy ones, you need to take our reviews into consideration and bring back a good thing. We promise to give you rave reviews and recommend to everyone we know. Guaranteed. Don't disappoint us.

Olay, I really wish that you would not have changed the formula on this one. I loved your first product .. it was a keeper! Your new product ended up in the trash .. was a waste of money. Should of just let a good thing continue to be a good thing ...

I never used to use a daily lotion before I found the original quench w/shimmer in the purple bottle in 2008. I loved the original sent, texture, the way it mosturized and shimmered. I have only part of one bottle left and have been rationing it out. The new lotion does NOT have the same fresh sent or texture and it does not moisturize or shimmer like the original. I am now on the look out for a new daily lotion. I like many others IMPLORE you to please please please go back to the original formula!!! We all would be extremely greatful.
