I have been a loyal customer of Quench, but when I discovered some of them were discontinued I was UNHAPPY!!!!! I hated using 4 and 5 different moisturizers daily. But, when I discovered how GREAT this product was; I fell in love with it. But now I am back to using another brand/product and I have to spend more money to purchase 3/4 different productsto get the effects of what your one product gave me. I really hope Olay is working on getting this great product back. All I purchase now from Olay is the Age defying soap. (hopefully that will not be taken).

Running low on my quench ultra moist shea butter lotion, I went to Walmart to purchase another one. As I was looking for it I noticed the style of the bottle changed so I smelled it and it did not smell the same. I figured maybe they had sold out. Came home to purchase it online and during my research I learned that the original was discontinue. Why? Why? Why? I am very disappointed to hear that this is no longer being made. I love getting out of the shower and putting that lotion on. The fragrance was just right for me, it was light, and still scented the room which would last for hours. Now I have to stretch what little I have left and hope that Olay is listening to their customers and bring it back.

After months of searching for my beloved Quench I have finally found my way to this website. Very disheartened to say the least to find that my favorite lotion of all time has been discontinued. Even more disheartening is the fact that despite the numerous complaints and clear dissatisfaction of your customers....Olay is doing nothing to bring back the original product. I was a loyal customer for years but will now be returning the 3 bottles of body wash I just bought. No reason to keep them since I am unable to layer my scents as before.
I will never understand why so many cosmetic companies make changes to perfectly good products, especially since the changes are never for the better. Why can't you just leave well enough alone. It took me years to find Quench and I was so happy when I did. Very disappointed that I have to begin a new search.
On another note, it is also very wrong that I need to rate a product with at least one star in order to post a review. Clearly the purpose of rating a product is so other customers know our opinion of it. This is very mis-leading and also shows how little Olay respects it's customers. The new product deserves a big fat 0.

I have been looking for a few months for Quench before I completely run out. I never could find the purple bottle but didn't delve into it. Now, after reading the reviews I find the formula and bottle have changed. Guess I won't waste my money on the new stuff - noone seems to like it. Please bring back the old formula - it was wonderful

I went to local drug store to pick up Quench and all I could find was the "new" Quench. It's not the same product, It doesn't moisturize like the old product and the smell is so so. I don't understand why you had to change a winner? I will not be purchasing this again until you change it back.

Theres no way Quench is still "same formula" the smell and consistency are much different than they used to be! I am a very loyal Quench user for 5+ years and I am sad to see Olay change the lotion so much. I am not as concerned about the smell change, but when the consistency changed, I knew it wasn't the same product. I haven't found anything that's comparable to this great lotion, but I will not be buying this "new Quench". I need something thicker and more moisturizing.

I've used the quench body lotion with vitamins and also the one with green tea (which was my all time favorite) and this one doesn't measure up at all. I miss the green tea quench and wish you'd bring it back. I've recommended that to all of my retired friends and they adored it.

I have used the old Quench plus age defying body lotion (purple bottle) for a long time. It took me a while to find a lotion that I really liked and now the product is longer being made. I bought the new Quench daily lotion and it is not the same. The scent is not as nice as the previously made Quench body lotion. Please bring back the Quench plus age defying body lotion. Please! Thank you

So, this was purchased for me by accident instead of the advanced healing I asked for. I started using it and it has the vitamins E & B3 like in the ultra moisture. Overall, it's okay. It goes on easy, dries quickly, but doesn't really feel like it stays for 24 hours and doesn't really seem to be breaking the cycle of dry skin like the old stuff. It also seems a touch watery.
On the plus side, I like the new scent better than the old one. Shimmer was a perk, but I can live without it. I won't be using this again though - the Advanced healing is for me and my super dry skin, but if you have normal skin, I think this isn't bad. Not great. Not bad.

I recently ran out of the old version of Olay and went to purchase the newly designed one. Olay claims it's a "New look, same great product." Unfortunately for everyone that has used the old version knows that it's now completely different. Not only is the smell different but the consistency of the lotion is more watery and has a sticky feeling once applied.
I never minded spending a little more money on a product I loved but now it's back to the store to find a new lotion.

I have been using Quench since the day it hit the market!!! This is the best body lotion ever. I suffer from severely dry skin in the winter...but with Quench, all of that dryness and chaffing is gone. I highly recommend this product for beautiful, healthy, "feel good" skin!!!!

Please, for the love of all things righteous, bring back the old formula ASAP! I hate the smell of the new formulas... I thought that only the bottle had changed when I picked up a new bottle last week, however, I was sadly mistaken. The lotion moisturizes okay, I suppose. And I really enjoy still having the option to get the shimmer version but the smell is horrid. I absolutely LOVED the smell of the old formula... and I actually liked the bottle better too, but I'm biased because purple is my favorite color. But anyway, at the very least, bring the old fragrance back...

I am in total agreement with the other reviewers who have expressed their disappointment in these new lotions that are supposedly "new and improved". I LOVE the Green Tea Quench formula, and have been looking all over town for another bottle. Now I know why I can't find it. I HATE the new scents and will have to find another product to replace the Quench. PLEASE bring back the old formulas! Why did you have to mess with such a good product?

I know that this may be odd, a review posted by a man, but part of my regimen, along with diet and exercise, has always been "products" as well.
When I first came across Quench lotion and bar soap - I was sold. Living up-north, especially during the winter requires moisturizers (men & women). Along with Pantene, I use these products daily.
People comment on my age/looks - it's a combination of the 3 indicators above: P&G products contribute.

I am greatly disappointed with the changes in the lotions. I loved the old lotions and how my skin felt; it was soft and supple. People even made comments about it! Now, am struggling with dry skin. I wonder if am getting the 24 hour moisturization that the new lotions promise. Please please please, bring back the old lotions.

I have tried Quench Lotion all through the summer, but each time I applied it, it left my skin feeling greasy so you just needed to remove it. It certainly did hydrate your skin, but maybe too much....just a little too greasy and heavy for me.

As a committed Quench body lotion user, I am upset to find it disappearing from the shelves at my favorite stores. To read on this site that it has been replaced is disheartening. This was a GREAT lotion and the new one is not the same......it certainly doesn't smell the same! I used the green tea & vitamin complex in the original product, and the scent was light and pleasant, in fact I was frequently told that I smelled nice. At least give us some option on scent. I am very influenced by the smell of lotions and will not wear one if I don't really like the smell. I don't want to smell perfumed! Bring back the old Quench! Why mess with a great product? I give the old Quench 5 stars....this one gets 3.

I too am very unhappy with the new Olay formula. I tried both products the shimmer and the daily lotion, and I returned both of them. The shimmer has an awful smell, the daily lotion has a similar smell to the old ultra rich with shea butter, both are really thin and not as moisturizing as the old formula. Sorry Olay, your attempt at a "new and improved" is a real flop. I too went out to the stores that still carry the old quench with shea butter ( Walgreen's still has a few ) and emptied their shelves and stoked up. Hopefully, when I run out, there will be enough disappointed customers out there, and Olay will come back to its senses and bring back our beloved lotion, otherwise it's on to a different product.

I loved the original quench lotion and used it relgiously for several years and am now lost as to what to do because I am very dissapointed in the new body lotion. I dislike the new fragrance, and it doesn't seem to moisturize as well as the old formula did. It was hard to find an exceptional lotion that moisturized, had a wonderful fragrance, and was not sticky or slimy. Now my perfect lotion is no longer. I would prefer that the original formula and fragrance be returned!
