This product worked really well for me. I was a little nervous after reading some bad reviews but wanted to try it anyway. I used it on my side burns (a long time problem area for me) and it worked perfectly. Took away all the hairs and left my skin smooth. I left it on for 10 minutes. I'm glad I found this product. No more waxing for me!

I wish I had to have read these reviews before I spent $23 on this product. This works no better than any other cheaper hair remover. My hair starts to return the next day.The only thing I can say for it,is that it does not burn or irritate your skin. Not sure that is worth the cost. Olay is such a good company and I believed in them on this product.In this day of unrest in our economy I would think that when we spend our hard earned dollar,that we could count on the product to work.This product is way to costly to not work.

Trusting Olay i decided to try this product and found it to be really easy. Worked very good removing the hair as long as I left it on for the max time. Only problem was within 8 hours I could feel the hair growing in already. I think I will go back to the salon. at least with the waxing, it stays nice and smooth for a longer time and when it does grow back in, it is not so course.

I decided to purchase this product today for various reasons. One, it's an Olay product and I am a fan and avid consumer of Olay products. Two, I found a coupon for $3.00 off and figured I would try the product and see if it lived up to the hype of the commercials. Three, I figured it may be more cost effective to use this product versus going to a salon ever so often to get my upper lip waxed. Four, using this product in the privacy of my home allows me to discreetly remove embarrassing facial hair without the embarrassment of walking into a salon to request to have my upper lip waxed. Five, this method of facial hair removal is significantly less painful than waxing.
Long story short, I used this product on my upper lip as directed and it removed about 95% of the hair! There were minor stray hairs that I had to pluck but besides that this product worked rather well. I'm very impressed and would definitely recommend this product to friends and relatives!

I had really high expectations for this product, but it was a disappointment. I have used depilatory creams from other brands in the past, but I have always had to discontinue use. Although these other products worked at removing my hair, they always irritated or burned my skin. Trusting the Olay brand I did not hesitate to try this product even though it costs much more than similar products on the market. I carefully read and followed the directions, but the product only removed about two hairs and left all the rest. Wanting to give this product a fair chance, I tried it again several days later using a much thinner layer of the balm and this time nothing happened. For reference I left the cream on for ten minutes both times I used it.

Not worth the Money

i usually research products before purchasing (read reviews from others who have used products, etc). Seeming as this was from Olay, however, and given the price, i figured that it MUST be worth it and went for it. BIG MISTAKE!! I applied and kept the cream on for the recommended max time (10 min), and it only removed part of the coarse hair on my upper lip/chin. Disappointed! Not only that, the next morning i could feel the hair growing back already! Will NOT be getting this again

Usually I love Olay since I've been using Olay products for decades but this one... I'm sorry but it doesn't really work for me. No wonder I got it on the clearance rack :(...

I use Olay products like the Face wash and wrinkle cream and love it. I have coarse hair under my jaw line and it tried it and it did not work. Nair was better with dealing with my hair than this product. I was really hoping it would work like it says it does, but I can see this working on very fine hairs. I still love Olay's other product though.

I bought the product for coarse hair and tried it three separate times and it did not remove any hair each trial. I ended up having to use a different method to remove the hair. I even tried it without the protective barrier and that did not change the outcome.

I've tried this three times with limited results.
The first time, I thought I didn't put enough on. The second time, I slathered it on.
The third time, I really, really slathered it on.
And, then I used the tweezers because there's not enough left to try it a fourth time!

I have been using the hair removal since it came into stores. It's decent but not as good as I expected. I am blonde and have fair skin/soft facial hair. I thought this would take the hair off with no problem but It only gets about 1/2 of the hair removed. So, it's ok but not great. Don't throw away your mini-shaver and /or anything else you used previously.

I bought this product to get rid of the coarse "whiskers" on my chin that I normally tweeze. I purchased the medium to coarse hair product and used for max time allowed. I removed all of the baby fine hairs but didn't touch the coarse hairs. Will give it one more try when the tweezed hairs come in a little shorter than they were this time. If it doesn't work on round two I am returning. Thank goodness for the 100% satisfaction return policy as this is not a cheap product.

At first I loved this product. I have a lot of hair on my upper lip, chin, neck and the sides of my cheek. It took everything off in one try. And it grew back by week two which I was fine with. But the second time I tried, barely anything came off! so I tried it again even though I wasn't suppose to. But I had to get it since I had a party coming up. But once everything came off, the second day my hair started growing. I really liked it at first but it wasn't working for me the second time. I will not be buying this again.

I have very coarse, dark facial hair and have used other home solutions in the past. I have never been satisfied-until now. I used this product for the first time today and it removed ALL my facial hair where used. The cream was easy to use and did not irritate my skin at all.
I am baffled by the reviewers who are less than satisfied. This is by far the best hair removal product on the market in my opinion. No more salon visits for me!
