Makeup clumps after applying product

This product is okay if you're just using it at night before bedtime but I find when I want to apply make-up over it in the daytime, my makeup won't go on smoothly. I've tried using less and waiting until it has absorbed completely but am not satisfied with the results. I love the smell. I have used Olay products since my 20's and I'm now 66. I have not seen any improvement in my wrinkles with this product. Will try a different Olay product.

Having used the basic Regenerist line for years, I was looking forward to using the more advanced product series for my over-40 wrinkles. I was also sold on the product description as ".. a beautiful canvas for makeup ...(a) skin-perfecting primer." No, and no. The skin cream feels like glue covered plastic wrap. It's a nasty, tight feeling when it dries, and I do not like the fact that my eyelashes end up sticking to my lower lids. It also enhanced my eye wrinkles, rather than smooth them. Worst of all is that any and all makeup instantly turns into a brown, lumpy, sticky mass on contact that needs to be rubbed off, defeating the entire purpose of an under make-up skin cream. My skin is slightly softer, but the product is sadly in need of some additional work to be as advertised. In the meantime, it will be a long, sticky wait until I can go back to the original line.

Couldn't wait until it was gone!

I bought this as a 2 pk at a well known warehouse club. I normally buy the micro sculpting cream and decided to give this a try. Like many others, the product would not dispense for me, but I held the plunger down and placed a wet finger over the exit hole and let it raise up. Did this a few times and it worked. I applied this as I normally do. When applying my liquid foundation makeup (which did not spread smoothly over this cream), small clumps of the cream would show on my skin and I had to scrape them off. I tried using a smaller amount, but the product would not spread without adding a drop or two of water to my face (small clumps still showed and had to be scraped off). If I didn't use the water, wouldn't that pull my skin and create more wrinkles? Anyway, after the first bottle was used, I bought my usual micro sculpting cream until I ran out and had to use the 2nd bottle. Couldn't wait until that was gone. This product was a hassle to use and I did not see any improvement in my skin at all!

I try the Regenerist Wrinkle revolution Complex for two days and was told by my daughter that my fine lines is more visible, the mouth lines and lines on the forehead are much deeper. It scared me and immediately I switched back to the Pro-X line and it's improving.
I feel sticky when I apply the product, is this not good to use in winter time? or due to my skin is thin and classified as sensitive?
I still have almost the whole bottle, should I give it a try again?

Poor Packaging

I've been using this product for 2 weeks and the pump stopped working. At first I though it was empty after only 2 weeks but it felt too heavy. I then tried the pump again and that's when the lotion started coming up around the bottom of the pumping device. I had to pry off the pump and found that there was still over an ounce of product left! I ended up throwing the pump away a recapping the jar but I feel that this will impede the integrity of the ingredients, as they will be exposed to air whenever I uncap. I really like the actual product, but the packaging is not optimal. I won't be buying this again since I only got 2 weeks use out of it and more than half the jar is going to waste.

Poor quality dispenser

I received a small sample tube of this product and loved it! I purchased the full size only to be very disappointed when I could not pump out all the contents as the pump was defective and "locked!" I was very unsuccessful in opening the 'jar'' therefore I lost much of the product. I am willing to pay the price IF I can use the total amount of the contents. Olay....please consider packaging this product in a tube. It is an excellent moisturizer.

I have only been using this product for 1 week and have seen a big difference in the texture of my skin. My skin is very sensitive and this product has helped calm it down. Also I have noticed my forehead wrinkles have become less prominent. My skin looks healthier and more even. I am hoping for more results as I continue to use this!

Packaging ruins it

I have been a loyal user Olay products and of the regenerist line and I great expectations for this product. However the frustration of the packing ruins the experience. I have tried all of the above methods to get the creme out of the container but since I can't even open it with a can opener I just wasted my money. TWICE At first I thought I bought a bad one and bought another only to find out it was a design flaw. So who know if it works or not can't get enough of the container to find out.

I can't even comment on this product because the packaging is so poor. I have purchased this 3 times and each time I feel that I have run out of product within 2 weeks. I couldn't believe that it would only last that long, so I pried off the top and to my surprise there was still 1/3 to 1/2 of the product still in the container! Sure you can dip your finger in and then try and get the top back on, but then you introduce air and germs and the product gets thick. Olay, please fix this. Obviously I'm not the only one having problems with this.

I guess I was hoping for a miralce but I have gone through two bottles and I have not seen any results besides maybe a drier face.

Can't tell you if it is good...I can't get it out

Just bought a two pack of this product and anxious to try it. Well, neither pump will work. When I read through the reviews and it appears this is a common problem. I tried doing what was suggested, but nothing. How sad. How can we get beautiful when we can get the product out of the container? Help me!!

Didn't work for me

I bought this after my mother recommended it above and beyond the Regenerist Micro-sculpting cream. Unfortunately, for me, it didn't produce nearly the same results as the micro-sculpting cream. I, too, had packaging problems. It stopped pumping, I thought it was empty. I ripped the whole black top off to find it 3/4 full still! Continued using until empty but will stick with the tried and true micro-sculpting cream!

I pinned this product (and the other regen) to my Pinterest wall haha. This product is heaven. I am on my second bottle and just have noticed such a difference in my face. The lines on my forehead, neck, 11's and even smile lines have faded. My face is dewey and I never want to be without this product. I've not had a problem with the pkg thus far. My complaint often lies with the company and their rebates. I've sent in 2 rebates and have spent countless hours on the phone trying to track it and get my money and or the product. I've been a loyal customer and have turned many people onto this line!

I've used one 1.7 oz bottle in 16 days, with 2 applications per day. Is this normal? Pretty expensive to go through a product this quickly. Also have not seen the results you advertise

Great product, terrible packaging

I love this product -- it's the best facial skin treatment Olay offers! The packaging, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The last bottle squirted cream up and out around the base of the pump every time the pump was depressed, and now a brand-new bottle won't pump the cream out at all. I seem to recall Olay using identical packaging for a different product several years back and I had trouble with it not working, too. Please change the packaging to something that works AND displays how much is left.

I'm a fan of a lower-priced Olay line but decided to try the Regenerist line to see if I liked it better. Like others, I had to break the nonfunctional pump to get to the cream. The cream is not bad, but I regret that spent $30 on packaging that did not work.

I can't get the stupid pump to work! After paying this much, it should be easy to get to the product I wish I could tell you whether or not this works, but I can't even get to the lotion to find out!

Worst Dispenser Ever

I really like this product. My skin feels so soft and smooth, however, after I used it for a few times nothing would dispense. I knew I had not used up all the product. My husband took the top off and there was over a half container left. Unless the container is changed, I probably will not purchase this product again. I have had no problem with the other Olay products containers.

I have been using your products on and off for over 30 years. I received a sample from ya'll and I fell in love with this product. The sample lasted about a week and I bought another bottle. Thank you for the coupon for I am on a tight budget but unfortunately it got lost before I could use it but that did not stop me from buying another bottle. After only a week and half of using this amazing lotion twice a day, I can see results. My boy friend is already noticing a difference. My 50th birthday is next month and I want to look my best (already lost 20 pounds). The wrinkles around my forehead, lips, and eyes are slowly disappearing. Thank you!

I love love love this product, but I hate the bottle. After only a week of using it I had to pop the top off because it wouldn't pump out any more lotion. I still had over half of it in there. the lotion itself is wonderful it instantly got rid of all my little wrinkles and my face is soooo soft and smooth, and no breakouts.
